Daedelus the First
As a boy, Daedelus lived in the house of his master, Stahlbo, the Grand Mage of the Wizard’s Guild. He given an option to travel with a caravan, to collect relics for the guild and quickly took the opportunity. For many years he traveled and learned about the world outside the guild. He never returned to the guild until the age of 48. Master Stahlbo is retired as Grand Mage, now living in the same house Daedelus had when he was an apprentice. Daedelus now finds himself in a world where magic is a dying ability, and the lands become foul with chaos. He sees he must study the source of this chaotic world… Syr. His goal is to become Grand Mage like his master, and keep the wizard’s guild alive, while saving this world from the impending doom it faces. He is married to a beautiful elf priestess named Gylda, who bore him four children: Aesthes, the eldest son who is a templar. Sagira, the eldest daughter and high cleric of the Sol’ Derin Order. Phyros, second son, who is a famed war mage who wanders the world in search of the ancient magics. Noram, the youngest daughter, who is a fiesty swordswoman, who lives as bounty hunter. It has been over 15 years since he last saw his family. Daedelus also searches for his most hated nemesis Prozan (the dark mage), the leader of the dark wizard’s guild the “Blood Casters.” It is an organization formed to resist the persecution of the Sage’s enforcers (called arbitors), who prohibit the guilds from using demonic magic. Perhaps fate will be kind to Daedelus if he should stumble on the land marks and people of his past.
